I was wondering if Fisher will continue to make the CZ-3D now that First Texas bought them. Or will all the older models be discontinued and a whole new lineup introduced? Also, why do some dealers offer a lifetime warranty w/ this detector while other dealers offer a 5 yr warranty?
 
On Fishers they are assembling now. But, the in the box 3D's many dealers had in stock from Los Banos Fisher with lifetime warranty cards will be honored. So, if you can, finding a "Los banos CZ" seems a no brainer & helps your Fisher dealer sell old stock....
Your first question about discontinuing the CZ's....I don't think so as they are a Dave Johnson design. If anything, we may see some new CZ's in the future hopefully....
