Hi guys, first time posting here. I was thinking of buying a new cz-3D. If bought new and I sent it toTom to get tuned , would it void the 5 year warranty? Figured I would ask here instead of calling FT . Thanks for any info. GS

I would assume most of the CZ's Tom gets to tune up are the older analog models out of warranty.

Best to check with the manufacturer or ask Tom directly prior to sending.

Considering cost of a new one plus recalibration why not buy one and it tests up to spec's leave well enough alone...many indeed will...
In any case I doubt if it would but considering your initial investment would surely make sure from Fisher before you jump....
Heck how would they know if you didn't tell them comes to mind....
