CZ-21

I have a chance to buy a brand new CZ-21 shipped for $1125 with the 8" coil.It will come from a dealer not private sale.I know these are going for $1499.Any thoughts why so cheap?

$1499 is the Minimum Advertises Price (MAP). This is the lowest price a dealer can post anywhere without biolating the terms of his dealership agreement. This is the only control the Manufacturer has on dealer pricing.

One dealer of another brand of detectors had his dealership agreement cancelled for putting bogus ads in Craigslist offering new detectors for less than MAP along with a cock and bull story about how,they were bought for a detecting trip,which got cancelled. This was a violation of the agreement. A public ad,offering a new detector at below MAP.

Per Federal Law, the dealer is free to privately agree to sell at any price he chooses. The price you were quoted is an example of this.

Sounds like a good deal.

Found one,it was only used for about 2 hours.It is in perfect condition with full warranty.I picked it up for $865 shipped!
