CZ 21 Question ???

How well does the CZ 21 deal with heavy blacksand beaches with either the 8 or 10 inch coils. And also, how does it do on gold chains ?

I am looking for a VLF water unit with tones to go with my PI unit.

Thanks, Darryl

I run a CZ-21 with 10in coil. Our beaches are covered with black sand. It may false a little depending how hot you run it. I can hit targets deeper than i want to dig. Gold chains are a no go unless the balled up and big or have a big clasp.

CZ-21 and gold chains don't play together unfortunately. I have no idea on black sand. Gold chains for most any detector are a problem because of the nature of gold.

One of the main beaches I hunt has a consideral amount of black sand...and it typically does not effect my unit. I am in agreement with EZrider and scubadetector....it does not detect small chains well, especially if they are open. Now if I find a pendant by itself...I will crank up the sensitivity and volumn and circle that area listening for any signal. Have found a couple using this method. Kieth
