I'm not going to try to talk you into a new CZ-21. Makes no difference to me if you keep your old unit or purchase a new one. If the old one works, use it.

Better seal on the battery compartmnet.

Improved push button on the pin point.

These two item were modified to improve over the CZ-20, as those were troubled areas.

The circuit mods, ????

i wasn't trying to be snotty i was inquiring as to what improvements if any had been made. my 20 has the lifetime warranty. so i'll end up with a new pinpoint button no matter what, hey. and haven't had any problems with leaks in the battery compartment. at this point no one seems to know if the circuitry has been improved, which tends to make me believe it hasn't or fisher has figured out a stealth type advertising campaign. if i were selling a new and improved i would be telling everyone about it. and they're not?

i'm not looking to dump my cz but am always interested in improved technology.

Well Kap, I am interested in any changes in this machine as well. Even if the circuitry has not been improved, I will probably buy the CZ-21 anyway since I sold my CZ-20 four years ago and want to get back into detecting. Even if the CZ-21 didn't have any improvements, was exactly the same machine as the CZ-20, I would be satisfied. I'm in hopes that the machine has not been cheapened in any way, and that it has at least a 5 year warranty. It would need at least that to compete with other detectors such as the Tiger Shark which has a lifetime warranty and a lower price. Hope we get some kind of review on the CZ-21 real soon! Glad to hear that you still like your CZ-20. Loved mine when I had it.
