CZ-21 Ground Balance

My GB is always at 10. I am just curious if anyone else is like this? I think it should go to about 15 it starts to get quit at 10 just not enough on it to balance correctly it seems. I still find coins deep so I am not concerned just curious if anyone else is like mine?

I'm usually at 5 but in deep sugar sand, I can get down to just under 4. And you guys have me confused. The GB knob only goes to 10.

What am I missing here?

I was just saying mine is always at 10 it is never Ground Balances at anything else. I think if the knob went to 15 I could get balanced but I find stuff DEEP so no worries...

I understand now. Yes, it seems that you should have some wiggle room. My guess is your ground is highly mineralized or your machine has an issue. But if you are getting deep then like you say no worries.

Maybe I have an issue if you both are at 10. :(

My old trusty CZ20 is normally around 5 to 6 at salt water sites. I don't recall what it ends up at in fresh water.

scubadetector reports from fresh water.

PowerDetecting,
Are you working fresh water or salt water?

it doesnt matter beach land fresh water it is always on 10. Sometimes on land I get 5/6 but still most places are 10

Interesting. Too bad a bunch of us couldn't all get together with our CZ's and see how each of them set up over the same beaches on the same day. Would be even better if at least one of the detectors had just come from a recent factory tune up.
Cheers,
tvr

Mine is at 5 on the CZ20, the only thing that is not on the red spots is volume, I like to crank it up to hear the whispers, I also hunt in all metal
