CZ 20 Shocking ear

mbmiller

New member
My CZ 20 has recently started to shock my ear when a target is found. Has anyone else experienced this and what was the fix?

Regards,

Mike

Not something I've ever experienced.

Is it a tingling electricity shock or a too loud sound shock to the ear drum?

Is this with the headphones in the water or out of the water?

Don't know how much voltage is across the speaker when it sounds off with good volume. I know that a nine volt battery can give a good tingling sensation if you get across the terminals.

It is bad enough that it burn my ear and caused it to bleed. It is voltage going to ground through me but it only occurs when the headset is wet. I have sent it into Fisher for repair.

Thanks,

Mike

I'm sure they will find the problem and get it fixed. Glad you sent it in!
