I just purchase a CZ20 I live in Kansas, I have owned a Fisher in the pass it severed me well. Its hot here soon the ground be to hard to dig , so I though I wood take to the water , so I could some good advce and some setup help. Thank you gary

If you have used a CZ before, set it up the same as you did and go.

If the CZ20 is your first CZ, read the manual. If you don't have a manual you can download one from the Fisher web page.

Ground balance to the hunt area, set volume to your preference, set sensitivity as high as you can without falsing ... on my CZ20 that is generally around 6 to 7, but if in doubt, just put the sensitivity on the preset mark. I like to run the discriminator on the zero mark and listen to all three tones. Some people like to run with more discrimination, some run auto tune.

Grab some targets: a small nail, a pull tab, a penny, a nickle, dime and quarter, add in a ring or two if you like and see how the CZ responds to each target.

Now have some fun!
Cheers,
tvr

Your unit is basically a land CZ with no meter so setup should be no problem...10.5 coil is a plus for coverage and in the water weight is not a problem. Dig all and if you find a gold medallion ...check the immediate area in autotune as the gold chain may be close by. Eat your wheaties as hunting in water is hard work probably one hour in water is worth three on land . Long water scoop and won't be long before some gold jewelry appears in your water scoop...
