CZ-20 Age?

I have a CZ20 and I was wondering how I can determine the age of the unit. I know they have been around a while, but I don't know the age of this one.

Also, is it normal to see little bubbles when submerging it? There were some tiny ones at the very edge of the face plate and I don't know if it was leaking or if it was from the rolled edge around the face plate. It worked after that, but maybe it wasn't under long enough to do anything to it.

Thanks!

at 1-800-685-5050 . I believe they can look up the age by the serial number. ANY bubbles coming from around the edge of the faceplate are not good. The faceplate on the CD-20's is clear plexiglass and was known for cracking. I have a faceplate downstairs and if I remember right it is hollow and maybe water just got in that compartment. ALL you can do is keep using it and see. The machine was made to go to 250' underwater and maybe the issue you have won't affect it unless you put it under extreme pressure at that depth. LOL I think the deepest I have gone with mine is 75' and that was useless!!

Good luck. You have a great machine.

I only wade, so it will never get much deeper than barely submerged. Maybe I'll toss it in the bathtub for a while and really stress test it.

If I wait for it to quit raining here to go out again it may never happen!
