anyone ever use cx111 on saltwater beach?I plan on going to florida soon,I have three weeks vacation to kill before end of year.

The cx3 i found to be almost useless on salt water beaches , it is great on the dry sand but totally useless on the wet salt sand - falsing + unstable. <img src="/metal/html/angry.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":mad">

Try Using the beach setting, but also turn your sensitivity way down to about 5 or less. This should stabilize it a bit more. You can also adjust the discrimination around the factory settings to eliminate some more of the false readings. I admit it is not a great wet salt sand machine, but you should do better with the adjustments.
