CW water bottle ?

I had an old gent give me this bottle when I was about 8 years old.
He told me that he dug it at a CW hospital site and always keep.
I cannot see that it would have stood a chance in the army. I do believe where he dug it at big union hospital in N. Virginia.
Bottle is @18 inches tall about 8 inches wide. Anybody agree / disagree?

The other pic is a P Stumpf A Busch seal Richmond bottle - still sealed with beer in it. I have been all kinds of $$ and stuff for this. Does anybody have an up to date relative value ?

The big bottle seems appropriate for chemical reagents, alcohol, or antiseptic wash solutions so I wouldn't hurry to discount the story. Might be from a bit later .... 1880's? I'm no expert but there should be one along to comment on this?
