Hey all. About eight years ago,I found an eagle breast plate in Chancellorsville VA. I found it at a huge, fresh "clear cut" site (prob.homes by now) using a Fisher CZ20(Fisher is in our BH family now!).The letters carved into the back of the breast plate, are T.W. Here's what I know:The battle of Chancellorsville was from 4/27 to 5/5 1863. The union commander was Joe Hooker,he had eight men under him. (Infantry) Senior corps commander Darius Couch-John F Reynolds-Daniel Sickles-George Meade-John Sedgwick-Oliver O Howard-Henry Slocum.(Calvary) Alfred Pleasonton.I went to the National archives web site, but you have to pay to get info.I'm just putting this out there if anyone can help.Thanks.
