Thanks CCH, I'll do my best to keep the relics coming. It was cloudy with a breeze yesterday so it wasn't too bad of a day to be out. I was thinking of going today but it's a little hotter than yesterday. HH

Those are some dandy finds Digger.

Are there any special events coming up for the Gettysburg 150th anniversary next month? I was trying to talk Nancy into taking a trip to Gettysburg for a little get a way and many of the motel/hotels are booked up. I think I was talking to a brick wall anyway......:rage:

There is always something going on in Gettysburg during the summer. This year being the 150th anniversary will add to the craziness over there. I live about a half hour north of there & get over a lot. You could stay in anther town not to far from there if you cant get any thing there. There is going to be reenactments battle walks camps tours all of the above. Gettysburg Battle field is huge. It would take a long time to see it all. I haven't yet.

Very cool finds! I've visited Gettysburg before and very big area, lots to see! We don't have much in Florida unfortunately in the way of Civil War battelfields. At least in the Central Florida area. There were a couple of good sized battles in the Northern part of the State though.

Nice finds !!
It's good to see there's still good stuff out there.
