Here are pictures of the cleaned up finds.

New York State Excelsior Medallion with the number 48,000 on it. It looks to be like some type of Civil War Veterans Medal, But I can't find the exact pictures. This one has the lady with scale on the left instead of right. It almost looks like a reverse of the state seal. The eagle is facing right also.

No. It isn't. Thank you for the input though. This thing is the size of a silver dollar and very thin like a colonial copper.
