cutless 2 umax

I just recently got a cutless 2 umax.I was wondering how close it was to the silver u max. What its better suited for coin or relic hunting? What kind of depth it gets. Thank for any information.

Used on for years for everything. Coin, relics, and beaches. It runs at 10 Khz like the Silver so it will love gold too. The 8 inch coil is a very good coil for all hunting.
Trust me that detector is realy good. Depth is not bad. You will get most coins in the 6-8 inch range. Where most are anyways. It loves gold and copper things also.
Why I used it for relics. Great button machine. Hope this helps.

Best of Luck,
DD

I have a Cutlass II umax. My wife took it from me soon after and she uses it as her main unit.
As far as I was able to find out, it is pretty much the same thing as the Silver and usually is cheaper because many do not know about it.

It performs perfectly well for an inexpensive MD. My wife loves it.

Here is a post I made after I bought it:
