Cutlass II

I'm considering buying one of the non micromax versions of this detector since I have been really wanting to try a tesoro for a while now (reading all tabman's posts back to page 120 or so on this forum didn't help any:)) I hope someone can tell how they they compare to the newer tesoros and what woud be a good price to pay for one. thanks

Don't know much about the cutlass ll but I am willing to bet it would make a nice detector. It might be a cross between the silver and compadre performance wise. Hope someone with experience with this machine will chime in.

I have two of them, they work great, as good as a Silver umax. But, I think better audio, overall.
Average price is about $100-$125 for one in nice shape.
They are very light weight and when rear mounted balance perfectly with the 7" coil.

And if you mount it on a straight shaft, feels as light as a umax machine.
