Cutlass II UMAx value

How much is a good condition Cutlass II UMax worth? I have a chance to get one for $150. Worth it?

I think that's pretty close for a good, clean unit. I wouldn't pay much more if it were me. JMHO

Thanks Bill. I had no idea what they were worth. Would rather have a Silver UMax or Cibola but i can't find any at a reasonable price.

The same fella has a Bandido II UMax he wants $250 for. How bout that one?

That's the better choice in my opinion, but I'd think closer to 200 or 225 in good, clean condition. I have an Eldorado umax which is the latest version to compare to the Bandido II umax and like it a lot. I don't know that 250 is way out of line, but there again (in my opinion) about tops. I watch prices on Tesoros right along on Ebay and of course some will go high and some low, but I think on average I'm pretty close. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill. I tried to talk him down on the Bandido but he wasn't going for it. Maybe i should just wait and see if i can come across a Silver, a Cibola, or a better deal on something else.

I bought a Cutlass II umax about 6 months ago for $125.00 with a coil cover and manual. I think it was a good deal. Most I saw were going in the $150 range.

It's a great little detector. It out-performs my Golden Sabre II on depth.

250 for a bandido 2 uMax seems okay considering all it has to offer. I prefer it over the Vaquero which cost a lot more for a new one.
