Cutlass II Umax on the way!

Hey guys,

Did as much research as I could and ended up with an excellent deal on a Cutlass II. I'll use my VDI machines also, but I wanted to get that "old school" detector feel and learn the sounds and nuances of a "beep and dig" detector. I really think getting in tune with the Tesoro will make me a better, well rounded detectorist. I wanted a no frills, powerful little detector to start with. I know it's the predecessor to the Silver Umax and I found as much info as I could. What should I expect? What are your thoughts or experiences with the Cutlass II? I'd love to hear any tips, advice, you name it! Thanks

You'll love the Cutlass, I found them as good or a tad better (if that is possible) than a Silver
