Custom CTX 3030 Divers Brace

My buddy made this because he's a fanner and didn't like having to reach in and out of the stock arm loop when he's on the bottom going after a target. It's also much stronger than the stock arm brace--it's aluminum.

Good job he did. So it is shorter allowing more side to side movement?
 
Hope those are gold coins. He made it so that he could work with no strap--he is used to a Fisher type bracket--more solid.

Great idea to strengthening the arm cup.

Maybe not as short as your friends modified one but, if it's about strengthening the arm cup on the CTX3030 , then this is a really good alternative:

ya, nice brace --with the old school Sov. cover. Certainly looks more comfortable.
