Curious, Thinking about trying to find a used Quattro, Are the warranty's transferable?

As far as I know the warranty is not transferable.
That is the main reason I bought a new one. I would
consider a used one as a spare or extra detector that
I could lend to a friend. If I was you I would just buy
new, because I don't think you can get a used one cheap
enough to make up for no warranty.
