Curious...AT-Pro and AT-Gold.

Probably because the AT Pro came out first, so there are many more hunters using them.

Hi!
I`m using this detector in Poland it is awesome very deep machine for coin(thin silver and cu per) coin and relict hunting and I`m not going to change it even for Minelab or Xp Deus.
But I have one complain about quality of AT Pro headphone adapter - I have changed it twice it is never ending story .May be I`m not lucky enough.

I use both as well, the AT Gold is for the hot ground around goldfields for me, The AT Pro i hit the salt lakes that AT Gold dont handle, in the wood or bush as we call it, depends on soil if it is deep coins i going to use AT Gold all metal mode for depth or if its clay soil i in then will the AT Pro as i like standard mode and the audio is very different on standard mode for one it does give a strong sound no matter how deep coin is.

Gold is more sensitive to gold and nuggets. Pro is better on coins. Holler if you have questions!
Hello, all. Long time "voyer", my first post.
Have been thru ablut 4 sets of batteries with the at gold.
Good: Light, deep and sensetive. Pinpointing is right on with the original coil. I like it.
Not so good: I slipped on some "rock snot" and busted the rest(below the cuff )in three peices. Thank God for instant glue.
I used the machine the other day for a few hours, went to another location and it would not turn on. Tried different batteries to no avail, so it's off to the hospital I'm planning a nuggett hunting trip to Nev. next week, so I guess I'll dust of the TDI. I'' let you know what happens.
