Curious about Golden

was about to maybe purchase one since it is really the only Tesoro I have never owned of the newer models but seeing it has been made obsolete will they stock parts to repair them since I also read somewhere they could not get certain parts for it anymore anyway Don't care about the warranty issues Paying for repairs is not an issue just would like to know if they will be repairable before I spend the money .

Barry i talked to rusty on the phone and he said yes they will still service the golden, he also told me that he even works on the older style brown box tesoros so no worries! clad king

One thing is for sure... I'll be keeping my "obsolete" lifetime warrantied Golden uMax!

well That sure helps Thanks for the reply's I really would like to have a golden for just park hunting I know it is not a deep seeker but would be an awesome coin machine for Parks

Barry to me my golden umax seems deeper then the old tone version, i dont know if its the machine or what but i love mine  just last season i dug a indian head at a good 8inches with a nice clean tone, i think i could have easily got it at 9. i dont use notch, i just set the disc just above iron and listen to the tones, its a great detector and i think you will really like it. clad king

My (factory) new tone Golden

i had my golden umax new tone change done by Rusty at tesoro when they were doing the change and when i got it back it seemed like a new detector, i even like it better then the vaquero i use to have. now bring on the Cazador :beers: clad king
