Curious about bigfoot......I'm referring to the coil(:-)

What kind of depth does this thing get?
There must have been a purpose in mind for making it in it's current configuration.
Whats it going to do (besides cover a bigger swath of ground) that the other big coils can't do?
Katz

It can get around 5-6" deep in dirt and deeper in the sand. It's much lighter in weight and it's so easy to swing. In one swing back and forth, it's like having a 36" coil. WOW, that's how it covers a lot of ground in a short time. The pinpointing is dead center! 99 our of 100 times I can hit the target with one poke! Hope that answers some of your questions. HH, Nancy

For those interested in getting one, I have contacted Jimmy Sierra and the White's distributor and they have been on back order since last fall. Let's hurry up and wait.....................:rage:

Well Larry, I guess I'll just have to sit here and :surprised: did you say back ordered? :rage:  and  in my diet drink. :crylol: KC, Thanks Larry

Hi Labeachbum:

Thats something for me to think about. One of these spring days
I'd like to go back to the Pacific Northwest and spend some time
Around Bandon and Coos Bay. Lots of sandy beach there.

Are you from the Los Angeles Area?

I grew up there. Went to Hamilton High. I used to take the long
walk down Venice Blvd to Venice Beach. Where the boat marina is now
used to be all sand dunes. Could always find Indian artifacts and sea shells.
I left in 1963. I was surprised a few years later when I made a return visit
to find all that gone and in its place this massive marina.

Oh the memories.

Well, I just got my bigfoot coil for my DFX today. I put my name on their waiting list a little over a month ago and they called me last week. They were calling everyone on the list. They had gotten in a limited number of them there at Jimmy Sierra's and they just went down the list and those that said yes, they still wanted one, got one and those that didnt answer the phone or didnt have the money at the time, didnt get one. I barely had the funds. My wife would kill me if she only knew.
Anyway, they were going down the waiting list until they sold them all. When they called though my jaw dropped.:surprised: Just glad I had the funds.

Its entirely possible that they could have some left since they reached me and only had a months worth of folks to call from an 11 months waiting list. You might want to call them.

Havent had a chance to try it yet. We just got 6 inches of snow yesterday so .....no swinging it yet. Getting ridiculous. Winter is toooooo loooonnnnggg.

One thing I am wondering, do they make a coil cover for these?

Dennis,
They had a coil cover for the ones made earlier. I have them for all of mine so they should have one for the latest released.

Thanks, I hope so. I emailed them about it, so hope they do. I dont want to use this until I get one. Not that I will get much chance for a while yet. :sadwalk:

Winter has just been too long this year. Or just seems that way. Too much bad news, too much dang government and too much cold.
