Man oh man was it ever slow again today in the lane of nada.
Heading to the rocks on tues. or maybe a spin in the northern territory.

I know you did a reset but that sure acts like a bad coil. Maybe try your coil on his machine. Don't know why I even mentioned that because I know all that has been tried. So far I have had 0 issues. Hope he gets his machine straightened out. Thanks for the video. HH :minelab:
 
That's awful. Reminds me of a V3i in EMI. It's gotta be the coil or water intrusion. Let us know when you find out.
 
One suggestion would be to swap coils with him and see if the problem follows. If it doesn't, at least you know its not the coil. If he is sure the download was successful, any chance the coil connector or waterproof headphone connector wasn't tight?? Keep us posted on what you figure out. HH Randy
 
Max, I noticed if I set my Noise Cancel to 1 it is very unstable around any EMF. 6 seems to work good. You might try that with your friend's CTX.
