Ctx3030 with DetectorPro Pistol probe

Does anyone out there use their ctx with the pistol probe or the uniprobe? If so, is there any interference? How do you like the pistol probe. Any information you guys like to share would be appreciated. Thanks, EddieB

I've heard they do not get along well,,,, but you just have to move the coil farther away to make it all good,, I was looking also but went with the Garret after alot of reading,,,, good luck

I use the Uni Probe that is built into the headphones and don't seem to have any problem and a great set of headphones too with great volume which I need. This probe goes deep too and the one I have has to be over 5 years old with no problems other than had to change the cord one time as it had a break in the wire going to the detector which is a replaceable cord you can do yourself.

Thank you Rick for your input. I had the uniprobe myself about 5 yrs ago and the probe cable keep slipping out of the connector. I got them fix and sold them. I wish I would have keep them now. Thanks again, EddieB

I tried and hated the pistol probe. I also tried the pro find from ML I went back to the Garrett just cannot beat it in my opinion.
