Hi All
Relatively new at this hobby, but I've done pretty well so far. I was on a sports field with a friend last night and he found a real nice gold bracket about 3" deep.
He reburied it for me to see if my machine could pick it up. Much to my disappointment all I got was a little squeaker of a signal. ( not enough to warrant a dig) and I usually dig a lot of the iffy signal being new at this. So my question is: can anyone recommend settings for gold, or is the machine geared more for coins/relics. Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Just because you reburied it doesn't mean you duplicated the bracelet before the original dig! Next time when hunting with a buddy when he or you find a deep or odd target check first and then dig. This also goes along way for you when learning the machine, spot and tweek and see what the results are!
