Yes, but the Combined option is like TTF on steroids.

With the combined mode you have a much better program. Not only are you telling ferrous from conductive you are telling low conductive from high conductive at the same time. You never realy need to look at the screen if you don't want to. Unlike TTF where you need to look every high tone. Plus the CTX will seperate the targets from iron better with a much quicker recovery.

I think that what a few are calling "combined" is actually Combined (tone setting) + ferrous coin separation. To answer your question...No. However, you can have 50 tone + ferrous coin. I believe digger has such a mode in the resource section.
