I had bought the 17" coil for my CTX when I first got it a few weeks ago. I had great luck at our local city park but it was a bit heavy for my likes so I sold it. I had used it 3 times at the hard hit park and every time my first target was silver but still I though I could get by with the 11". After selling the 17" and putting the 11" back on I could tell I was lacking so I went right home and bought another. Got it today and went back to the city park and first target was silver. LOL so far every first target I have recovered with the 17" has been silver. I was there for about an hour and found several wheats and a merc. One wheat was doing its best to stay lost. I had got a good close signal with my TRX, oh and the TRX and CTX are a perfect match, then the signal just disappeared. I covered up my dig and figured it was another UDO (Unidentified Deep Object) when I felt something uncomfortable in my glove. Usually this is mud since I use open cuff leather gloves so I took my glove off and shook it to get the mud out and put it back on. I could still feel something in my pinky finger glove but I noticed it felt round like a coin. I took off my glove and sure enough there was that wheat that had disappeared.

Way to go Terry Great Hunt tonight If I could get use to the 17" Id get one but you know my ability to concentrate better while MD just hasn't come to me yet and even though you say it separates iron from the coins Id still have A problem cause of me
maybe some day IL get Detecting down to A Science like you hope it don't take another 30 years of hunting with you for me to get it right but I'm still trying Keep Um cumming Have A Great Year HH
