CTX troubles in the last months

Hi Guy's
I got my CTX a long time ago I couldn't even tell you when but it was right after they came out. My machine has been great for years and years and the only problem was a bad coil that was replaced free. late last year my unit started to have an occasional problem where the sound would go off and I would have to shut the unit off and restart it and then everything would be fine again. This isn't a WM10 issue as it would do it with or without the module in use. This year it got worse and more often. So I had to do something and what I did was a complete Master Reset of the unit. It cured it I'm glad to report. My unit is back to normal. I did the Master Reset then connected to the Xchange2 and put all my settings and programs back and everything worked as it should.
Just informational stuff guys.

HH get out there

Hey Todd,
That's good to know...

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't have guessed that would fix it.
Very interesting...

Very good to hear. Seems like that master reset can solve a lot of things.
Thanks for letting us know!

Todd I do a reset once a month just to get rid of any glitches that I can not see so far no problems . I also got my machine in June 2012 . sube

When ever I decide to update or add a program, I do a reset and then just reload all my updated programs .
Easy and only takes a few minutes and maybe avoids some glitches

The most important thing is to save your favorite programs and MLFs to your computer. I do this prior to each upgrade and at least every 6 months. This way if you do loose the programs for whatever reason it is really simplistic to get them back. I have also seen where a program recently added (if it is corrupted data) can cause issues. Sometime a quick delete of that program and switching to a new one can help.
