CTX Screen Has Rainbow of Red Green & Blue

Has anyone experienced their CTX screen having
areas of Red green & Blue colors in circular rainbow
color configurations?

Do you have the protective cover still on that came with the detector that should be removed before use? Are you wearing polarized sunglasses while looking at the screen?

My sunglasses do it all the time.

Yea, I wear non polarized sun glasses or a ball cap and no glasses for the same reason.

I wear prescription, polarized CostaDelMar sunglasses on every hunt during the day and have never seen the rainbow effect that you're seeing. Mine still has the protective screen cover in place and I also have a control box cover on it.

The combo of my polarized sunglasses and the screen protector I have installed make it impossible in the sun. I take my sunglasses off and poof! All clear.
