First of all this my first post so hi all from southeast Wisconsin.
Pretty much a newbie to the ctx3030 but thanks to forums like this and some research the learning curve really isnt as bad as most think. I have to admit i was really intimidated at first but just starting to get into a comfort zone with it.
The weather here hasnt been co-operating very well this spring to say the least. Anyways decided to get out yesterday despite the temp and wind to a spot i've hit pretty hard with the mxt pro. (many others have been there too im sure as its a small lot in town with an 1800's school on it) Lots of nails and junk to deal with so im sure its discouraged lots of hunters .
Swinging very slow it was trying to pick out targets from the junk, so I started to see what it was telling me!
Man I cant wait till I really get to know what this amazing machine can do. Heres' the finds from that 3 hour hunt and notice the amount of clads, nuff said cause its been picked over.
The seated is toast but its my oldest coin so far (1876)
Good luck hunting all

very nice for first times out. you will be amazed at how much better you get with it too but it looks like you've got a good handle on it...

That is one heck of a three hour hunt......:clapping:

Wish I had some spots like that! Well done.

I'll take 3 hours like THAT anyday! A dime trifecta the hard way, indians galore... wow. Nice job!

Seated, Barbers, Mercs, Indians, and Wheats. Plus all the clad! Excellent results from a 3 hour hunt. Congrats on the 76 Seated Lady. May it be the first of many, with your CTX 3030. HH Randy

thanks all
gonna have to head back to all the spots i thought i had hammered last year, omg what did I miss? CTX3030 has changed the way i detect!

It does get better. Wait till you get your head around it. I pulled 10 silvers so far out of the "seated field" that produced 1 silver for me last year when I was new with the CTX. It's an animal, and the other detectorists are you your food. Lol.
Eat it up. You are bringing a howitzer to a chess game.

I have now named my CTX, and coined the term WMD....... Weapon of Mass Detection.

Fantastic three hours.
