CTX Gulf Gold

Hit a different beach this morning and found a guy already in the water with a wet suit and Excaliber. I wanted to search the wet tide line (low) and started with some deep pull tabs . This is usually a good sign as they could easily be gold .After working the beach for about half an hour I got a nice 12-25 at 11". I was thinking a deep sinker as they hit around the 12-24 to 12-28 .It's always a thrill to see that gold flash when your expecting lead. That's my 10th gold ring since I got my CTX in October and I'm a believer .Maybe I will have to change my forum name ! Not sure how the other guy did but I went home happy ...and warm ! Hope the numbers help .

Were you running High Trash or Low Trash?

The bottle cap 01-13/23 looks like what I see running High Trash.

You did a great job describing your hunt, the conditions, tide, place you wanted to hunt, signals you were focusing on and what they were telling you..etc, AND you posted the numbers with the pics!
Sure looks and sounds like you have a nose for gold! Good work!:please::beers:

Nice looking results!

I run in low trash beach mode but with the 2nd. screen (all metal )and discriminate with the numbers . I get the best depth this way .I'll dig a deep bottle cap every now and then as the numbers jump around alot . The numbers I posted were the most consistant number on each target but really no target locks dead on . I like the strange signals and avoid the pennies and dimes to avoid too much time spent digging 12" coins.I know I miss some good targets but for me it's all a" numbers game" and gold .

Nice ring tHE-Etracker (CTXer) Congrats on a beauty! :clapping:

Great save!..........that's a beautiful ring!!

I would say 11" is very good depth. I am really hoping to get a 17" sometime this year.

Wow...really nice....congrats.
