There is a lot of discussion about the o-ring gasket. I use the Minelab grey o-ring others use a 2.5 mm o-ring. I change mine out once a year others more often. I had a problem last year https://www.findmall.com/read.php?86,2360208,2360208#msg-2360208. Also Google frogmaster riviera.

I use the factory O-ring when on dry ground. This summer, I will hit the creeks and rivers, I will use a better set of O-rings. I bought these from Andy Sabisch ebay page. Item#202245739835

I’d say get the good o rings there not that much more and make sure you clean when you charge batteries . If your a dry land hunter they last a long while if your a water hunter yearly at least.
