Not sure how appropriate this coin is but I would love to know who makes it and how old it is? Funny part? It was found in the front yard of a church built in 1905. It was about 7 inches down so I assume it's been there a while because I've been diggin other coins there at that depth that date between 1920 to 1935. I know that doesn't mean much. Google searches result in pictures of this coin and others that are similar. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

LOL I got the same one in the middle of the woods with my e trac earlier this year,I got a kick out of it,sweet find. HH

I once found 11 of those in one hole in a wooded park, here in central Illinois. It was dark and the tokens were dirty (no pun intended, but I'll take it). I thought I had found a cache of 2 cent pieces. I was excited until i washed them one off in a water fountain. Someone told me they are used to operate the video machines at the adult book stores. They come in different sizes and are also known as "flipping coins". I gave each of the guys at work one and one of those guys, said his Dad had showed him one many years before.

Thanks for the info guys.

I remember seeing those in the 60's as new. Perhaps they are from before then as well.

Maybe it fell out of Hugh Hefner's pocket, heehee.

I found one with my Etrac in a park

I looked it up and it is considered a "Vintage Adult Token"

I also took some ribbing on the Forum for the Find

I Won The Best Miscellaneous submission for that Month in my Detecting Club
