CTX detector bags

Does Minelab make a new style (larger) detector bag for the CTX or is the old style (black or blue) cordura bag the only one they have for it?

Yes they do make a ctx bag. I have one and like it. 60 bucks from Windy City detectors.

I have my Minelab CTX carry bag 6 months now , it has had a fair amount of use. The bottom of the bag is soft and cuts easily , it has lots of cuts under the bottom of the bag - also the long black thin plastic "tubing" that runs all way alongside the zip has become detached from the zip material , the quality sucks. The bag will not hold up to hard use for sure , I am already planning on buying a second ctx bag and outing my old one on ebay for some one who wants a cheap bag.

I have the garrett camo bag it fits perfect and has lots of storage pockets

Like I tell everybody else, the WHITES bag fit the CTX perfect!

Another question-----Does the CTX 17" coil fit in the Whites bag while on the CTX and you can still zip the bag up ok?-------Thanks-------Del

I got one of the new bags for the CTX, in fact I got 2 of them as i use one and have one on my wall for sale.
I really like mine for the little I have used it as I loosen up the clamp and turn the coil and slide it all the way in and have plenty of room in the bag, but might have to try without sliding the shaft in and it probably will fit too. It is tall enough so I can put the detector in it and my Sun Ray trash treasure leather pouch with my Lesche and probe on my leather belt and zip it up with no problem. At this point I see no problems with this bag and really like it.
