CTX delay due to an "adjustment"

My CTX has been held up, shipping out Monday at earliest due a repair being needed. I ordered the standard pack, & my dealer did not know what fixes were done, something to do with the wireless module they heard, but not given details from minelab. So maybe next weekend I can get out there.

Wow I would want a new one, not a fixed one. There is a sponsoring dealer, Demarco's, very close to you that has one on the shelf, you could be out hunting this weekend. :detecting:

I was told Minelab has held up all detectors in their warehouse for this fix, not just mine. Thats why the dealers have not received all their orders I assume.

That's why I'm waiting a few months before dropping the coin on one.. Gives them time to shake the bugs out. :detecting:

if true its all very od all this wait n see n discover tactics! surely there testers and themselfs must have ironed out a hell of alot of stuff before putting this machine up for sale??????
a bit of company self confidence would go along way :)

since everything has been so secretive and all drawn out this also will be kept from us. You would think (they ) could let people know what is going on. jmho.... all the testing and I was hoping no bugs. we might need the bug spray!

So, all the ctx's that already went out the door may need to go back to minelab for some sort of fix? How do they do a fix on detectors that are sitting on dealer's shelves? We need more info on this.

interesting post. My unit was due to go out yesterday but for some reason was not shipped until today. I thought it was held up in the ordering dept. but perhaps it was a software update? Who knows, I have full confidence Minelab will stand behind their product.

Upon reading this post, I immediately contacted Minelab, asking about any delays due to product "adjustment" or issues with the wireless module. Their response is......

There is no

It was the middle of the night (in OZ) when this was posted. As I said, I contacted them and provided them with the information being posted.
