CTX Backlight

I am having trouble with getting the option of the backlight where you can turn it on and off and have it stay on for 10 sec or 30sec.(i cant get this to come up on thr screen)
The only way to have the light up the screen is to hit the user function button
I rebooted the detector 3xs
Before this happened it was working and then i played with the user function button and hit the backlight dot(Which i think is marked everytime i go into this function now even after rebooting)
Does anyone have any idea how i can get this back to normal
 
I think you are about to have a "Duh" moment if I'm understanding your post right. The backlight function is disabled as long as it is the selection under the user function. I think if you move the user function to another selection the backlight will return to normal.
