ctx any good

The CTX is a great machine. I have found more silver and gold with this machine than with my previous machines. Learn to use it and swing slow. Many people that complain have not taken the time to learn it or have never used it. I admit some people have had problem but Minelab takes care of it. My partner and I hunted with a fellow that complained about the CTX but would not try the settings that my partner tried to show him.

GREAT METAL DETECTOR

I like mine as well. It has some unique features that will help you detect targets that would be difficult for others to do so and will help you dig a lot less trash. Could there be room for improvement?....yes.

I've only been out about 6 hrs with mine. So far I'm impressed. I'm just waiting for the ground to thaw so I start digging deeper to find silver.

After I got mine I was convinced that Minelab should have quit making any more of them!

Ha!

Great detector! I like the fact that it's rain proof. Killer silver catcher.

I think the CTX is an excellent machine. On hitting the market I do believe they had some quality control issues and a few machines got out that were defective in some manner. But, I also believe they have that under control and are doing a great customer relations job now. The CTX does have a learning curve and the operator needs to go slow and learn what is being displayed and heard. I also believe that some of the complainers would complain about not getting any silver coins if they were digging gold bars everyday! I hunt everyday with guys that use White's, Garretts, and Fishers, and they are all great machines and some of the guys are really talented with them. I dug a lot of silver coins in the Houston area last year and I doubt if ANY other person in the area dug as many without hitting some sort of cache. The CTX is a GREAT detector!
