CTX 3030 digs a 16" minnie ball live

Finally got this thing posted, sorry if the quality is not great but I was using my phone, it was getting dark but I wanted to capture the depth I am getting in really good soil.

Did this back at the end of September and just figuring out how to get it off my phone.

I was using the relic program, open screen, noise cancel, sensitivity 25-30 and gain 26 so the 3030 was on fire this day, enjoy.

I think this is the deepest target I have seen a video of anyone dig yet unless some of the beach guys are digging this deep we just don't see it still in the dirt.

Here is the youtube link, don't know how you guys add it so it just pops up, maybe someone can help me,

Thanks and enjoy

Man, it takes a lot to impress you guys, LOL

I thought there would be a lot of response since people are always wondering about the depth of this detector.

I guess I should have had a tape measure with me to show the depth rather than taking my word for it on the shovel?

I guess earlier in the shot when it showed the Garrett pinpointer that gives some contrast for depth but went several inches deeper for the target.

Like I said, it must take a lot to impress this crew.

Not only was that an impressive find at a very impressive depth, but you were able to video made it even better. I had no idea that the CTX would go that deep for a minnie ball. Thanks for sharing. The only thing that I have dug that deep so far, is a beer can, but now your find gives me something to look forward to.

This is just one example and in really good dirt.

Like any vlf in bad ground things would change but wanted to show what could be done here in Virginia between Richmond and Petersburg areas

I dug another one right before this almost as deep but did not video it while digging.

As I got down there on this one I figured I should try to capture the moment.

What I would like to do is go back in there and get one of these deep readings so people can see what it sounds like initially, as it progresses, and see the end result like this one.

It is hard to dig with a shovel and run a phone video at the same time, wish I had the right video setup like some of the guys do.

Really makes some cool videos, glad you enjoyed it.

Very deep bullet for sure.Almost PI depth I would think. The 13x17 will add several inches more depth over the stock coil in the good dirt like you have there.I have been digging a lot of very deep coins at sites that had all but quit producing with the stock CTX coil and larger sef coils on the E-Tracs.

well done,,, and thanks for sharing !!!
