CTX 3030 Day 3 Mud Beach

Day 3 with the CTX in the default beach mode. I decided to go to a place I haven't detected in over 20 years. A place I call mud beach. It's a ocean back water canel area with a mud beach. I detected the whole spot and and found numerous clad coins, and about 20 minutes into the hunt a hit a .925 ring. It was totally black in color with a very shinny gold mount with either a ruby or a garnet, not sure at the moment. Noone had detected the place in some time as you can see from the number of coins I found, in about 90 minutes of detecting. By the way only a few trash items in the whole area. In the third pic, I had just cleaned the ring up, kept most of the patina, looks cool.

I hope you enjoy the pictures
Robert
