Got out for a while this morning to hunt a old parks that has a natural spring it was a old meeting place for people for years it was raining but me and the ctx didn't care really don't want to admit this but one of these finds was a first for me I have found countless gold rings and even a bronze state seal coin but never a silver quarter I was so excited I left my pin pointer at the park didn't get to far before I figured out it was gone.

Thought I would show my bronze state seal coin found it a few years ago about 10 inches it was in the ground under all the wood chips at a playground you never know what you will find at playgrounds.

That's layin' down a WHOOPING man! We should all remember....wood chip lots and play lots, especially when in a property that is old already, has old ground under it! You might have to dig a ways, but the old ground is there.
Nice finds Shovel!

I'll give ya a silver 1954 quarter for either gold ring! Ha Ha. Great finds. Finding a silver coin is also much harder for me than finding a gold ring in western Florida coast. In the past yr or so I have found 3,000+ coins, 9 gold rings, about 28 silver rings but only 1 silver quarter. But still...I love my gold.
