CTX 3030 at Myrtle Beach

Just returned from 3 days at Myrtle. I did not have my detector with me but when I see someone out detecting, I always try to stop and say hello to the detectorist. When I was at the boardwalk, I saw a gentleman detecting and went to say hello. His name was Terry King swinging a 3030 with a monster coil, probably 15" or so. We had a nice conversation which I really enjoyed. He said he is on the Findmall forums, so if you are on here Terry, thanks for the nice visit! Bryan in Goldsboro.

Nice to run into other detectorists.. Unless it's your secret spots... Name doesn't sound familiar..
Last time I was at Myrtle Beach I only found a small handful of pocket change.. Still it was fun to try a change of scenery..

oh myrtle, tough beach, hunted hard, lots of sand in summer...been there several times with some success, but last couple of times during the summer with lots
of recent drops and plenty of sand to go around. Good luck with Myrtle, she's tough at times.....:beers:
