Ct metal detecting

i am very new to metal decting and i was looking fo rgood locations to search. I live in connecticut and i was wondering if anybody knew some good areas anywhere in Ct. Also it would be really great if there was some spots around woodstcok or Eastford are.
 
Good luck on that. Most detectorist spend all summer looking for a good spot and probable won't give it up . General living in Conn you should be able to find some nice old finds. Check out the woods , open fields , old fishing holes etc. Just use your imagination there's no x that marks the spot. Just ask permission and learn to clean up your holes, like you were never there.
