:csflag: Went detecting with Mountain Man...

Mountain Man and I went out this afternoon, detecting between the showers and drizzle. He bought himself a new detector he wants to try out, a T2. He started out finding half a dozen percussion caps... he dubbed himself the percussion cap daddy.

I drove my truck out into the cow pasture in case we got caught in the rain, wouldn't have to walk the half mile back to the truck soaking wet. I turned the detector on and walked about ten feet, got a good signal. Greg wanted to swing over any good signals with his new machine to see what his machine read. After we'd done that, I dug the target and it turned out to be a nice New York cuff button... ~ cool.

A short time later, I got another good signal and dug this 1863 "fatty" Indian head.

Before the mother of all showers came through and shut us down, I also managed 2 bullets and this knapsack hook. In the meantime, Greg had found 3 bullets and an eagle button. So we were happy when we jumped in the truck just as the down poor started and made a run for the border the cows run for the woods.
