:csflag: Mountain Man and I hit a pretty good spot yesterday...

Friday I was out by myself at a spot that Mountain Man had told me about. He said they had recovered quite a few relics about 10 years ago from this field. The day before I had found a nice handful of relics that I posted on the forum here; hitting the same spots Friday wasn't producing much more. I only had 3 fired bullets to show for 2.5 hours of trudging under the hot sun. I decided to go to a less likely looking spot in the field and when I got there I dug 12 bullets in 8 minutes and there were still plenty of good bullet signals in the ground. So I called Mountain Man and told him of a little hot spot I had found and that I would back out and wait for him to come help me hunt it. I even marked 2 of the bullets signals with sticks sticking up in the ground, they would be his first 2 freebies when he got there. Yesterday Mountain Man and I met up at 7 in the morning and went back to the spot. I ended up with 28 bullets and 4 eagle buttons. The picture all so encludes the 15 bullets I found there the day before. I The 2 eagle buttons on the far left and right have partial fronts on them showing part of an eagle. Mountain Man did about as well. We must be getting old, because by 3:00 we were both pretty beat. IH penny as well ~ 1883
