[size=large]Still yet unidentified Civil War era sword belt plate. "Something" Volunteer Militia... could be any of the eastern seaboard states, southern or northern, involved in the Civil War. Has been in 6 magazines, and has baffled the experts of Civil War artifacts from around the country. Right now it is known as the "Vernon Cross belt plate", or as Mike in Missouri likes to refer to it "McDonalds Value Meal" belt buckle (MVM). [/size]
