:csflag: Meet Ed....

Hey everybody, would like for you to meet Ed. About a week ago I ordered a new Whites TDI SL from Ed in Florida; as usual, he gave me as fair a price as anyone around. I told Ed that I would name the first Civil War bullet I found with my new TDI after him. Well, today that happened... and here is Ed, a Confederate Infield bullet found between Lee's last war camp and his rear guard commanded by Gen. Longstreet.

This was my second day using the TDI. Here's a couple of buttons I found, got the Union staff officer's button (above) yesterday and a Union eagle coat button (below) I got today. Also found some canister shot, grape shot, cannon fuses (friction primers), buckles, thimbles, etc... oh, did I mention the iron? Today when I was done, I unbuckled my detecting pouch and it hit the ground with a resounding thud. Needless to say there was a LOT of iron in there. Thanks for looking.

Are you able to distinguish the slight difference in the low tone between iron and bullet? Lay both down side by side about 20" apart and listen to the difference. Hopefully the TDI gave you a good high tone on the brass finds.

That Ed bullet looks so mch better than me, I might start using it as my avatar!

I have 2 of them but I just sold one on eBay along with some others detectors so I can buy the Whited TDI and a Garrett AT Pro. But yeah, I really like the B&G and will keep one for sure and use it.
