[size=large]Well sir... ol' Dave's been charged by dogs, bit by tics, dug some relics, made some new friends and seen a part of America he's never seen before. But like a good book, there comes an end. And so today, as I took Dave and Nancy to the airport, our time together was once again done. The week went by quickly. We all had a good time and did the thing that have brought all of us together on this forum ~ metal detecting. But a very special kind of detecting... digging and holding in your hand the very history of this nation ~ Civil War relics! Man, there's nothing like it!

I will let Dave post his thoughts down when he gets back to Idaho but will post this last photo of him and the lovely Nancy standing at Thomas Jefferson's "Monticello". We stopped there on the way to the airport. Virginia~ Ya gotta love it!
