That's a nice one! They are pretty scarce and usually only found in SC. Is that where you dug it? I have no idea what price it would bring but it should be on up there.

I wouldn't think it would be too unusual to find a Charleston, SC slave badge in Georgia. After all, people did travel and they did take their servants with them. Also, some slaves were rented out to other people. It could bring a minimum of $2000 and upwards toward $5000. Who would want to sell it though. That's a keeper.
 
i dont think i could sell it after researching how few there are it is a once in a life time find and man its awsome.:super:oh and thanks for all replys happy detecting
