:csflag: Hey y'all, Lucky Dog here from Central Virginia where the relics are so plentiful I trip over them...

[size=large] Started out finding a few bullets and a mule shoe. Wandered over near to where I found the Confederate A button last weekend and darn if I didn't trip over another A button.

[size=large] About 15 feet from the A button, I tripped over another Confederate button. You can tell by the size of it in the dirt clod that it's a Confederate button.

[size=large]Brushed it off a bit and it's a Confederate infantry button. Both of these buttons had iron backs which disintegrated. I was able to save the little brass shank from both of them (proof that you can't wait on the archaeologist forever).

All in all, not too shabby. And like I always say, it sure beats a jab in the eye with a sharp stick. Thanks for looking.
